Hey yo! Have you guys forgotten me? ㅠㅅㅠ Don’t forget me okay! I’ve been really caught up with stuff recently. School, planning for my future, university, and stuffs I don’t wanna deal with or talk about!

SO! I went for a food tasting event the other day with Himeko! And!

It was creation cafe! At
100 Beach Road, #01-43 Shaw Leisure Gallery, Singapore.

First up! Mushroom soup!

It was so so so nice! There were like bits of real mushroom inside and the taste was just right! Really liked the garlic bread at the side!

The mushrooms were finely grinded into the soup and you can literally taste the sincerity the chef put into it!

Surprisingly, although there were mushrooms grinded into the soup, the mushroom taste wasn’t overpowering and tasted just nice. And I finished EVERY SINGLE DROP OF IT.

Here’s the evidence.

Then we had our first main course! Cabonara Fettucine!

Creamy! And the taste was just right! ^^ I always thought cabonara should be paired with either penne or spaghetti, but! Creation Cafe proved me well! It really goes well with Fettuccine too!

keke^^ Likewise for the cabonara, I finished my portion and helped myself to a second serving!

IT WAS SOOO GOOD! *stomach growling*

Next was the Spicy Crab Penne!

WITH HUGE CHUNKY PORTIONS OF CRAB!

And you know what! IT TASTE LIKE DULBOGGI PLEASE! OMG!

Please don’t scold me for playing with my food! For the Spicy Crab Pasta, I didn’t get a second helping as I’m kinda bad at eating spicy food!

Next! Java Curry Penne!

You know what, I expected this to taste weird BUT! IT’S SURPRISINGLY GOOD! And if I really had to rank it, I wouldn’t know to put this or the cabonara first!

It was creamy, with a tinge of spiciness!

Next, Laksa Fettucine!

I must say the laksa taste was really authentic! Not bad if you are bringing your overseas friends to try! ^^

AND LAST OF ALL, THE RISOTTO!

I kinda liked it! This was my first time eating risotto and it taste so so so creamy, and yummy! *stomach growls again*

Anyway a funny conversation was going on before we had risotto.

A: What is this?
B: Oh! This is RI SO TO
A: Huh?! MEE SOTO?*

Then I went back home and announced to my mom, MOMMY! I ATE DAMN GOOD RISOTTO TODAY!

MOM: What?! Mee Soto? Didn’t you eat pasta?

*Mee Soto, a malay delicacy found in Singapore. It’s like noodles in chicken soup and one of my favourite dishes! ^^

I feel like running to creation cafe now… MY CABONARA AND JAVA CURRY!!!!!

Adventures with friends!

Going on adventures with friends are always fun! Right?

The other day, I went over Himeko’s house to cook with her and Tsuriki! (I didn’t actually do any cooking…) We cooked spaghetti! ^^

Himeko was stirring and cooking the pasta!

Tsuriki was chopping up the ingredients!!

It’s kinda good being the maknae that day because I didn’t have to do anything!

Anyway, another picture of Tsuriki cutting up the ingredients!

I swear the person who marries her is the luckiest person in the world! She’s pretty, cooks well, sings well, and niceeeee! If I were a guy I’ll fall for her also. Sigh, I can never become such a girl…

DONE~ Our Mentaiko Salmon Spaghetti! ^^ (The sauce is only $2!!) AND IT WAS SO DELICIOUS OMG. *insert stomach growling noises*

Then we sat bus to attend an event!

Lesson of the day: Don’t take selcas on bus! (Blame everyone but my shaky hands.)

Anyway, back to the main point of this post, Adventures with friends are fun, right? And the event we went to revolved around friends having adventures together!

Introducing SKYLANDERS SPYRO’S ADVENTURE! You must be thinking WHAT?! Another game! BORING! *click x* NONONO! WAIT! WAIT!

I shall show you something.

What’s this? That’s your character that you’ll be playing in your game!

The characters are frozen in real life, so you have to bring them to life using the portal!

Yes, this very cute character is called Gill Grunt!

And! He is brought to life using the portal!

Isn’t it awesome and amazing? Best thing ever = YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS GAME! Gather your friends, and you can play together!

Look! A romantic(?) rendezvous!

Besides Gill Grunt, there are also many characters for you to play with/collect!

My favourite one is definitely whirlwind! It’s so so so cute!

Oh! I totally missed out a point that is… Your characters are fully customisable with special hats to collect! So whenever you put your character on the portal, it appears with the hat!

Confused? Meaning, let’s say I have Gill Grunt, and Tsuriki has a Gill Grunt (which is true!), and she managed to find a cowboy hat, and lets her character wear it, and we put both Gill Grunts on the portal, hers will have the cowboy hate but mine won’t!

AMAZING! I really wonder how they do it man!

Anyway, in case you’re about to dismiss this awesome game, just take a look at THE DREAM TEAM.

SHREK?! PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN?! TOY STORY?! STAR WARS?! OMG. yea. That was my reaction when I saw this.

Hello! I’ve decided to do this post today because I just realised something! And I just wanted to convey this message to my female readers <3 <3 <3

(WARNING: THIS IS A VERY WORDY POST.)

I know the message might be cliche and you may have heard it a lot of times, BUT! I wanna stress that there are seriously NO UGLY GIRLS. Just lazy girls.

I’m not asking all of you to put on shitloads of makeup, but seriously, just make an effort to dress up well, and put makeup that can hide your flaws and bring out your best features.

For all you know, that special someone who you’ve been trying to attract might just come up to say hi! That aside, who doesn’t like looking at a prettier girl! I like looking at myself once I put on makeup! (self obsessed yes!)

I admit I’m not a pretty girl AT ALL. But when it comes to makeup skills, I think I definitely stand a chance against another pretty girl! (In my own opinion. LOL) You know why I’m so confident about it? Because dressing well and dolling up yourself would give you confidence!

If there’s anything you don’t like about yourself, work hard to change it! Think positive and set your goal because I have faith that you’ll definitely achieve what you want!

Just, DON’T BE LAZY WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR LOOKS! It’s the first impression that you give to other people. Even if you’re beautiful on the inside, what other people see are only superficial things (clothes, looks, makeup, fashion). At this point, I really wanna confess that yes, I’m a superficial person and I judge people based on their dressing sense and all. EVERYBODY DOES SO. I don’t wanna name names but yea, most people do that.

If you have a good fashion sense, flaunt it! Don’t care about what others think about you or how they look at you. Most of them are just jealous anyway. Dare to try new stuff, and find a style that’s uniquely yours! Don’t let anyone rain on your party or take away your swag!

Hey guys! Did ya’ll enjoy my picture heavy post about World Runway Premiere? Or have you forgotten about Michiyo? TT_TT

Anyway, I had a kid like happy day filled with childhood memories yesterday! I was so happy! So I just wanted to share my happiness with you guys! kekeke^^

I posted on my facebook page I was really happy right? I went to the supermarket with my mom! And I was shopping around when I saw this CARS 2 PEZ candy dispenser pack thingy!

There were stickers inside, and a CARS 2 PEZ candy dispenser, and refill candy packs! I haven’t had this for SUCH A LONG TIME! So I pestered my mom to get it, AND SHE DID! HEHEHE.

I swear I was so happy! LOL! AND I GOT A STICKER WITH SHU TODOROKI INSIDE! I LOVE SHU TODOROKI HE’S VERY HANDSOME. (Go google him if you don’t know!)

Anddd… I GOT A LIGHTNING MCQUEEN PEZ DISPENSER! There was Mater, and Finn Mcmissile! But I got McQueen! Happy!

After supermarket shopping, mom suggested that we go to an IT fair at the expo to get an external hard disk as I needed it badly so, we headed there and there was this Robinsons sale! (In case you’re not familiar with it, Robinsons sale is a sale where things are sold at discounted prices, somewhat like a warehouse sale.)

I was bored, BUT I FOUND SOMETHING THAT MADE ME VERY EXCITED! There was a capsule sale there and it’s one bag for only $10! (I’m a big fan of capsule machines so yeah. I was super excited!)

And if you’re familiar with capsule machines in Singapore, each capsule retails at around 2-4 SGD! So a bag for $10 is very cheap! Guess how many capsules I managed to put inside the small bag?

And that’s a lot! Wanna show you the toys I got from all these capsules!

First of all, Jack Skellington figurine!

I had to assemble him myself but it was fun! Jack Skellington was my favourite cartoon character back in my secondary school days! (1 Capsule)

And here’s another series in two capsules.

Characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas in boxes shaped like coffins with Jack’s faces and scenes from the movie on it! (2 Capsules)

There’s also this syringe thingy which I selca-ed with but didn’t take a close up shot of!

It’s supposed to be a toy kinda thing where the part where the needle is supposed to be (replaced by the red plug) would pop up when you push the syringe in. But! It doesn’t work!

TAMAGOTCHI STICKER DISPENSERS! I wanted to get these awhile back but I was afraid that I wouldn’t get the one I like! I got to choose at the capsule sale so I was happy! kekeke^^ (2 Capsules)

Then there was this Disney strawberry series thingy!

Cute right? Saw this at the capsule machines a while back and they cost SGD 3 per capsule! This is so cute! Especially the Stitch one! (3 Capsules)

There’s this stupid thing which I think I shouldn’t have chosen.

Seriously? A vegetable? But, on a second look, the turnip somehow looks like a person’s butt crack hehehehe! (1 Capsule)

There were also some Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse things..

Mickey Mouse hand warmer and Minnie mouse ribbon keychain! I wanted the Marie keychain cos the ribbon’s pink! But I couldn’t find any… TT_TT (2 Capsules)

You know, you had to dig and look thru many piles of capsules before finding what you want! So I had quite a hard time! There was this pile with characters from my favourite Disney movie though…

I love Sully Wully and Boo and Mike! Guess who’s my favourite? Mike! (3 Capsules)

Among the pile there were a lot of bitches though! And when I mean bitches, I mean these!

They retail at capsule machines in Singapore at around SGD 3 per puppy! Not really worth it, but cute! I misplaced one of mine a while ago… (4 Capsules)

There were many animal capsules around! And I got these adorable little creatures!

A chicken(?), a guinea pig(?) / hamster(?), and an unknown creature that looks like a llama. (3 capsules)

Among the same series, there were also these two little creatures which I wanted to get for a longggggggg time!

Really love it! The brown one kinda looks like my guinea pig while the purple one looks like Gu Junpyo (from boys over flowers)! I LOVE THESE! Available at capsule machines in Singapore at around SGD 4? (2 Capsules)

So that was the end of my crazy childhood items shopping day! How was your day? Aish, if only everyday was as happy as that day!

World Runway Premiere 2011

Yes! Today I’m finally gonna blog about world runway premiere which I attended last Sunday! Got the invite from Shunji Matsuo and also cheerleading tickets from Sozo! ^^

Of course I had to selca with it!

Went to the event with my yeobo~ And we were super stressed about dressing up for a fashion event. In the end, both of us decided to just heck it and wear whatever.

I seriously love my yeobo’s hair! LOL!

Here’s a selca of what I wore.

Compared to my usual fashion sense, this must be pretty acceptable by the public in Singapore! ^^

We were given flags to wave about to support the countries, and initially, we wanted the Japanese flags, BUT! They ran out! (Japan too popular LOL) So we decided to go along with the Union Jack!

We kinda regretted getting the British flag after remembering that our favourite designer (Jeremy Scott) is from USA. BUT! WE CHOSE THE RIGHT FLAG! (You’ll see in the end)

So we waited around for a ridiculous 2 hours before they finally let us in at 5pm.

And here’s the rehearsal stage!

The models from the Singaporean team were having their rehearsals at this point of time and I was pleasantly taken aback at the cute and bold designs our designers have put up.

We had to wait for quite abit before the show officially started at 6pm, so… SELCAS!

They were testing the lighting out and we were kinda looking like shrek here..

Even our tickets were given the Shrek feel! Kekeke^^

Okay I know it’s damn childish.. BUT I CAN’T HELP IT!

*pout* whats with the lousy blurry photos anyway! *angry at self*

Anyway, the show started soon after and I was really impressed with the trailer before the show!

What really made me think was this:

Fashion can re-create, re-unite and re-conciliate the world.

Which really got me thinking, we might have different cultures and speak in different languages, but most of us there had a common passion, FASHION! (omg it rhymes passionfashionpassionfashion passionfruitfashionfruit)

The show started off with a group of models headed by local celebrities Dawn Yang and Nat Ho.

Yes. Both of them were looking in this direction while I took the photo! kekeke^^

World Runway united top creators to send a prayer to the world! Winners will choose a charity of their choice to donate to from next year onwards! But this year, it’s for Japan’s earthquake relief fund!

The fashion designers from UK! The bald one looks like Jeremy Scott and behaves like him BUT! He’s not Jeremy Scott! TT_TT Plus I didn’t manage to get a good photo of him!

I think I shall just cut the chase and go directly to the fashion show.

It started off with France and I was really excited because as you guys know, Paris is a fashion hub, right?

BUT! I was so disappointed by the French team because their designs were so common. Lack of detail, Lack of fab!

But the models’ walk were awesome!

I decided not to share too much of them because there’s really nothing special about their designs. As you can expect, they were toasted. French toasted. (okay not funny runs away)

Next up! Italy!

To be honest I was really impressed with Italy’s designs!

Both the designs and the makeup were bold and colourful!

I had a good time watching the Italy team’s designs!

Next up! USA!

To be honest, I wasn’t really impressed with the USA' team’s designs, but their makeup and hair were really good!

Plus I saw a few Lady Gaga inspired pieces so… PLUS POINTS!

Next up! The one that most of you are waiting for, JAPAN!

I personally really liked their designs, hairstyles and walk because they managed to combine Japan’s culture, traditional designs and elements into their designs!

Hair and makeup were also traditionally inspired I believe!

Next, UK! Which I was apparently rooting for because of the flag!

I must say, I LOVED UK’S DESIGNS. THEY WERE F**KING AWESOME. I SWEAR.

The first piece really blew me away with it’s tiny details and embellishments.

Did I also mention I loved their makeup? Angry birds inspired!

HAHAHAH!

Next! Russia!

You know what? I really really really liked Russia’s designs! And their hair and makeup, AND the music to their walk which was so different from the other countries.

If you notice, the girl in the middle is wearing a bag on her head.

If you look closely, there are hearts drawn on her knees! ME LIKEY!!!

Next, Brazil!

Wearing I <3 SG shirts? HAHA!

I cannot remember much about their outfits but, I remembered the models look genuinely happy and were rocking the stage!

They were also really proud of their heritage!

And… SINGAPORE!

was really impressed by singapore’s designs! They were really innovative and bold, unlike normal Singaporeans on the street… (meh)

Really liked the irregular patterns and lace decal!

The models also looked as if they were genuinely having fun and partying on stage!

And that concludes the end of the first round, which eliminated Russia, Italy, USA, and Brazil!

The remaining teams were UK, Japan, Singapore and France (seriously?)!

Anyway, just to be honest with you guys, I really didn’t like any of the other teams designs as they were really boring! SO, in order not to waste your time, I’m just gonna post the works of the winning team! UK’s!

They totally deserved it!

Why did i say that? Because if you were to look at the other teams work, it’s actually pretty obvious that not much effort was put in compared to the British who put out whole new designs! Instead of designs from the previous rounds.

Really innovative designs!

And my personal favourite! The mermaid dress!

Remember the hair salon where I went to learn how to style my hair? Yeap!

Shunji Matsuo opened a new salon!! AND! It’s I*CON Shunji Matsuo by Lily Xu! At Far East Plaza, which I’m sure most of you are familiar with!

Recently, a representative emailed me for a sponsorship to do my hair! So, I went today!

A more punkish/fierce look today…

Well, I’ve always wanted a different hair color instead of boring brown so…

Bye bye brown!

Before dyeing my hair, I sat down with Victor to discuss what color and style I wanted! And even though it was his first time doing such a style, he was very patient and willing to try!

Well, Victor and Cindy were really patient with my hair!

First, we had to bleach my hair! So Victor and Cindy got to work, and if you’ve bleached your hair, you’ll know that it’ll hurt or itch really badly right? BUT NO! They did such an awesome job that I didn’t feel a thing…

So here’s me looking like an alien!

Maybe I look better like that with my face covered right?

But seriously! with all the foil around my hair, I felt like a piece of garlic bread/chicken that’s gonna be put in the oven to be toasted/roasted!

See, you see. They were marinating me…

BUT! THEY DECIDED TO STEAM COOK ME INSTEAD!

It was warm! And there was smoke coming out…

Does this count as smoking?

So, after smoking and steaming, I turned yellow! BRIGHT YELLOW! (yellow jello. Black and Yellow)

And once again, VERY PATIENT VICTOR attending to my hair again…

I look like my yeobo right! hahaha!

But! The color wasn’t what both Victor and I wanted, so we had to bleach again!

So we had to redo the whole process again! Marinate, wrap, steam, wash, blow dry! I seriously wonder how can all the hairstylists be so patient man. If I’m them I might just throw a tantrum and walk off!

Not to mention they had to put up with me constantly making derp faces and laughing to myself whenever my hair is wrapped/steamed…

And turned out nicely after bleaching twice!

For my hair, Victor had to segment it…

And he managed to segment it nicely! ZIGZAGZIGZAG!

After segmenting we had to test the color on my hair, cos I wanted a more brownish color! The first two testings turned out copperish!

By this time, Tsuriki already came to find me, and even went to buy food for me when I was hungry! (Where can you find friends like these huh?! WHERE??? Okay more of her later..)

So Victor dyed my hair, washed and blew dry it…

TADA! MY NEW HAIR COLOR~~

I was there since 1.30 till 8+ and Victor was all along patiently doing my hair.

SO GRATEFUL TO HIM…

He still curled my hair for me after doing my hair for like more than 6 hours?!

And after putting all my accessories on..

And of course I needed to take a photo with the wonderful Victor!

AHHHH~ SO TOUCHED… *SNIFF SNIFF*

Awesome is an understatement for Shunji’s hairstylists because they never fail to deliver excellent results for my hair.

Of course with my new hair I had to selca right! With Tsuriki who was also very patiently waiting all these while…

Hello guys! How have ya’ll been? Tell me? I miss blogging and sharing my thoughts with all of you! ^^

Recently, Michiyo bought a polaroid~ kekeke^^ And I took alot of photos with it! I’m happy!

Alot of people are asking me, why do I wanna get a polaroid instead of saving up for a new digi cam? They say: “The films are so expensive!” or “What’s the point! You can’t upload these online!” But to me, the polaroid creates memories that I can hold in my hand!

Why must I hold these in my hand? Because I miss the feeling of flipping through pictures in a photo album! Digital images are nothing but data that can be easily erased with a button. If you don’t like it, you can erase it. Pictures are no longer valued pieces of memories where you treasure every photo taken… (okay! GETTING TOO EMOTIONAL HERE!)

Besides, being a realllyyyyy lazy person, I don’t have time or the energy to develop my photos! Hence a polaroid’s the best for me! ^^

I just wanna remember all my best/close friends. One day when my computer is down, I still have these photos to look at! And I can show my children and say: “See! Auntie _____ look like that last time!”

Hello everyone! Have been blogging very frequently these few days!^^ (see! I told you guys I’ll work hard!)

Pretty natural huh? Like my eye make? I like it a lot!

I really like this palette because it’s really pigmented and if you notice, I didn’t use eyeliner for this look, only at the corner of my eyes! Because the black was sooooo pigmented and so nice, I used it to line my eyes!

See my lips? Yeap! It’s the NYX Lipstick in Circe!

Love it! Why? Because it’s smooth and nice smelling! But that’s not all! I love it because it manages to give me nude lips without covering the natural “pinkness” of my lips, so without even putting on lipgloss, I have a natural nudy pink colour which i really like!

So, in conclusion, I would rate Shopping-District.net’s 28 colour neutral palette…

4.5/5 – It’s compact, easy to carry, has a good selection of matte and shimmer colours, and is super pigmented! ^^ (minused 0.5 points cos there’s no mirror!)

While for NYX Lipstick in Circe, I would rate it…

4/5 – The packaging’s really cute, smells nice, and is nude! My favourite colour for my lips! ^^ Plus it’s matte which I prefer over shimmery lipstick! (minus one point, cos there’s definitely room for improvement!)

With these two highly rated(by me) products, you can look good at any angle!

It’s a nice place for you to play Wii, Xbox, and board games! Went to play Wii the other day!

It was really affordable and they had many titles like raving rabbits and mario! ^^

They had large LCD(?) screens and a really comfy couch with cushions!

I really like this eye make! It’s an unexpected combination! ^^

So, I was telling you guys I couldn’t blog during the weekend right?

To be honest, I went on a mission… It’s Mission: Save Happy Interesting Nimble Excited Elephants. In short, S.H.I.N.e.e.

If you just read this and cannot understand a single word I’m saying, I’m saying I went to queue for Saving Wimps Charity (SWC)! Nah, just kidding! SWC is SHINee World Concert!

(You might be grumbling that you just wasted your time reading some rubbish, BUT! It’s much more interesting than just saying HEY GUYS I WENT TO QUEUE FOR SWC! right?)

Anyway! It was soooo tiring! Cos my yeobo went at 7am to queue, I bet she was even more tired! (read her experience here ----> http://keelamy.blogspot.com/2011/07/i-just-thought-id-blog-on-queueing-of.html#more)

So, we were first in the unofficial queue! Which eventually became official! (Shall not rant about the shits that we endured and shits people gave us…)

The moment we knew it was official and we were the first in queue, my yeobo and I broke down in tears! (To be honest, many people were angry with us because the unofficial queue became official, to those whom we asked to join us but didn’t and showed us attitude, you have NO RIGHT to say anything.)

Bitch you ain’t got shit on me.

So, anyway, we were the first in queue and there was the media around to interview my yeobo blah blah blah blah blah…

we were so damn tired..

And, we went to the toilet and we were given special passes! SO CUTE!

Of course, how can I not selca with such a cute thing!

WE WERE SO NERVOUS WAITING FOR THE TICKET PERSONNELS TO COME THE WHOLE NIGHT!

I only slept for 1andahalfhours… TT_TT and the floor was hard!

In the morning, I simply couldn’t take it, and put on my shades! Took a picture with Uncle Dollah who really helped us soooo much!

He’s such a sweetheart!

So anyway, we got our tix, and when my yeobo came to find me after her interviews, my first thought was “I CAN FINALLY MEET KEY” and I broke down again. (Y I SO DRAMATIC?!)

Okay, that kinda marks the end of our SHINee queuing mission!

Glutton’s mini Review!

Hello everyone! You must be wondering where I went right?

Tell you a little secret, I became a glutton! So I’m gonna do a glutton’s mini review on the snacks I’ve been eating recently? OKAY? ^^

(mini cos i’m too busy eating to do a full one)

So recently, my mom brought some HERSHEY’S KISSES!

AND OMG. They are soooo evil! I cannot stop popping them in my mouth!! TT_TT HELP MAN OMG. The chocolate is soooo smooth and the almond inside is crunchy just the way I like it! Fresh! Hershey’s never disappoints.

BUT! They’re a tad too sweet for me as I’m more of a dark chocolate person! So I have to eat potato chips to take away the sweet taste, and eat chocolates again to get rid of the salty taste… It’s a never ending cycle!

Anyway, after eating, must drink something right? My mom also bough this new banana milk she found at Parkway Parade!

TADA! Banana soy milk! I was quite apprehensive to drink this as I’m quite loyal to my Binggrae Banana Milk (which taemin loves also)…

Anyway, ingredients!

Andddddddddddddd, after trying this, I still prefer my usual banana milk which taste less artificial! Besides, I didn’t really like the taste of the soy milk in my mouth. The texture was not as smooth as the Banana Milk that I usually drink…

SO YEA!

Here’s my all time favourite banana and binggrae products! (Melona Mango is abit too sweet for me! :()

Rainy Days~ (I wish!)

Hello Hello!

Today I’m gonna review an iPhone game that I really like!

It’s Rainy Day Season 2 by Idea Box! (Available at iTunes Store, FREE)

Well, basically you play as this guy who has the ability to dodge raindrops! He’s an honest guy with a normal job, but he didn’t take his umbrella out (don’t we all face this problem?) So he has to dodge raindrops to get home (awww! poor thing!).

Wanja Bean (coffee bean?)

Well, I really like this game because even though the graphics are not fantastic, but the gameplay scenery is awesome! As you can see, there are motorcycles and cars driving by! Which makes the game more interesting (but sometimes distracting and annoying!).

While you are walking, you might get wet, so there are ‘stalls’ for you to minus your ‘wet gauge’ (a measurement of how much you get rained on in the game) and gain bonuses!

And… With his love interest at Sunny Animal Clinic!

Talking about his love interest, another thing you have to do while dodging the rain is to collect lost animal posters, find the animals, and bring them to Sunny Animal Clinic, where your love interest is at!

In case you are too distracted with collecting the animals (like me lol) and often get drenched on, there’s always items for you to pick up! (etc, Umbrella, Box, Newspaper) to give you temporary protection from the rain.

Here’s our guy with the box! Don’t worry, he’s not embarrassed! He’s just hiding from the rain!

And here are just some of the items you can buy using the points that you’ve earned throughout the game!

Besides these items which will help you hide or protect you from the rain, there are also various items, or places to look out for you to hide from the rain! (download the game to play it yourself!)

Overall

Price: FREE! I think it’s super worth it!
Graphics: Pixelated! But that makes the game looks cute! Background images are realistic, but cute at the same time…
Controls: Fairly Easy

I really like this game! Would rate it 3.5/5! Minus points for repeated stages from the different levels, and some people might get bored from playing this game! But to me, it’s definitely a game to cure boredom!

My new jacket!

Hello everyone! Today I’m gonna introduce a blogshop that I recently ordered from!

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT AN ADVERTORIAL!

So the story goes like this.. It was around a few months ago when I was browsing through twitter and saw one of the accounts I was following retweeted this KPOP blogshop selling Key’s leopard/kiss print jacket!

And I had been eyeing that jacket for quite a long time after seeing key wearing it! Afterall, it’s turquoise and pink right! Cuteeeee~

So I decided to hop over to the blogshop, http://fishtankkpop.blogspot.com/ to take a look! And I immediately ordered it!

Their replies were really prompt, and one thing which I really like about this blogshop is that they don’t do mails! Some people might not trust mails right? And mails have chances of getting lost! So! MEETUPS!

More trustworthy, and it also shows how sincere the blogshop owner is to actually meet up with you instead of just conversing through emails right?

So, I went over to Chinese Gardens MRT the other day to collect my jacket from the owner! And she was really friendly! ^^

Besides, they carry many KPOP merchandise which all you KPOP fans (including me!) can buy! Definitely gonna buy from them again! <3

Sailor Style! My favourite! More on that later!

Anyway, as I said in my summer makeup tutorial and popsister august 2011 post, this summer’s eyemake is all about bright colors!

Here you go! The point is actually on her lower lid and top lids! Both are shades of PINK! With PINK blusher and PINK lip gloss! The darker pink paired with brown on the top lid makes it more natural looking! ^^

Love the outfit there! Perfect for Hip Hop!
Here’s the eyemake!

Blue for the top lid, winged out at the corner! As I said before, winging out a bright color on your top lid really makes your eyes pop and stand out more! Kumicky Also has blue lashes on! Pretty!

RETRO FUN YELLOW

This is one of the ultimate summer feel! Bright yellow dress to bring up the heat more! <3

To match, we have light yellow eyemake! Point here, the yellow is drawn as a stroke where the crease of your eye is, paired with natural brown makeup, it’s a natural but fun look!

SWEET ORANGE SURPRISE

Love the flowers in her hair! Even though it’s not spring anymore, flower garlands are still okay!

Personally, I love this eyemake the most! Although she used natural colors for the top lid, at the corner, Kumicky added three ‘dots’ of red, blue and yellow!

A really interesting look that makes your eyelashes less boring!

SEXY ROMANTIC PURPLE

MAXI DRESS! You’ve totally got to buy one if you haven’t yet!

And the eyemake for your perfect sexy, romantic look!

For the top lids, it’s just normal, natural brown! BUT! The point here is on the bottom lids where it makes your eyes pop! Purple is sooo romantic and sexy!

Went to watch AKB48 showcase in Singapore the other day with Tsuriki, Himeko, and Domo! Thanks to Shawn la!

Before going, we went to the AKB cafe!

The food there is SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS!

Are you excited? I’m really excited!

And you know what? Let me let you in on a little secret of mine… I don’t really play MMORPGs! (I only played MapleStory till level 11, then i gave up!)

But today, I’m gonna introduce a really fun MO Action RPG to you!

Yes! It’s the long awaited, DRAGON NEST! World’s No. 1 Action RPG!

Went to the press conference the other day with Tsuriki! <3

When we first went in , I was greeted by a basketful of toy plushies! Named Hounds!

Here’s one of them!

I found them really cute, and for a weird reason, their nostrils are really nice to dig my fingers in! (>_< ;)

Anyway, I started playing with the Hound!

The hound was too cute for me to resist!

Anyway, we lucky bloggers got to try out the game! I LOVE IT! Even though I was like exclaiming throughout the game (the graphics were tooooo good!), I had alot of fun!

The sorceress character is really awesome!

Archer! Which Miyake will be cosplaying as!

Oh, anyway, the game felt really realistic cos it’s in 3D! I love it! And the controls are really easy to use for a noob like me!

After playing with games and settling down for refreshments, the press conference started!

We were really excited to see the video!

Summer Makeup Tutorial! (mini review)

(Note: All pictures are not photoshopped or edited in anyway in this post in order to show you how it looks like exactly)

Wanna achieve this look? The focus is actually on the eyes, but my fringe blocked it! Ughhh!

Anyway, this is a fun summer look which I came up with myself, inspired from Popteen and Popsister looks!

Let’s start!

1. First, apply your makeup base, foundation/BB cream, then powder!

Next, you’ll need your eyeshadows!

For this tutorial, I’m using Majolica’s eye shadow in BR792, and Dollywink eyeshadow palatte No.3!

(Didn’t take my majolica palatte because I’ve been using it for quite a long time and it looks ugly! Got the picture online instead!)

Please pay attention to the letters!

This is how your eye is gonna look like when closed,

And when opened!

First, apply B on half of your eyelids, then blend C with B, but make sure that the two colors are still obvious!

Then, apply D at the end of your eyes! Extend D to the tip of your eyes! Make sure D does not overshadow C!

Apply E at the bottom of your eyes to create a bigger eye affect, BUT DO NOT LINE YOUR EYES WITH E. Apply till the middle of your eye.

Brighten your eyes with A at the inner corners of your eyes and till the middle of your eyes!

After applying eyeshadow, apply eyeliner! Then eyelashes! For this tutorial I'm using Diamond lash pink tray's Beauty Eye!

Then time for the cheeks! For the cheeks, I’m using Canmake Cheek ‘N’ Cheek!

I love the colors! As I’ve said in one of my posts, ORANGE is an important color this summer!

As to how I apply it, I like to blend the two colors together to create a pinkish orangy look without looking too orange!

See the orangey tint on my cheeks?

Lastly, for the lips, just use any orange lip gloss or clear gloss if your lips are already slightly orangey!

As for the products mentioned, I really love them and I will definitely buy them again! Yes! All of them!

Makeup base + Face Powder Review!

Hello everyone!

Today I’m going to review Maybelline Angelfit Makeup Base!

First of all, I wanna say, as opposed to popular belief, BB CREAM SHOULD NOT BE USED AS MAKEUP BASE.

Why? You would ask. Personally, I find it too thick. But if you want a more logical explanation, it would be that the BB Cream would eventually clog up your pores, and does not make your skin brighter, unlike makeup base!

I’ve been using this makeup base for quite a long time, and I must say it’s definitely better than the previous one that I’ve used!

The texture of the makeup base might appear too thick at first, but to apply make up base, you need to pat it…

and it will soon dissolve in your skin!

I like this makeup base because it has a pink-ish tint to it, and would effectively give you a healthy glow! Plus, it has SPF 25+++ which would ensure you would DEFINITELY remain fair!

I would give this makeup base a rating of 9/10! It smells nice, protects my skin, gives it a glow, and is not chalky (unlike my previous makeup base)! It’s also affordable at less than $20! Would continue to use it!

Next, my recent buy from Korean brand, Holika Holika!

I needed a face powder that would give my face a matte look! Because after applying BB cream (which is what I would usually do after putting on makeup base) would make my face look somewhat oily, and I don’t like it!

Really like this powder because it’s compact, and includes a mirror!

This powder is really nice smelling, and light, which gives a natural finish to my makeup!

Yes, the powder is white! It would become transparent after being applied on your face, so don’t worry about looking like a geisha or a ghost!

I really like this powder because it absorbs the oil on my face, and hence, is great for touching up! Oil free face 24/7? YES!

What I didn’t like about the powder was that the texture feels abit weird! But it feels fine after applying on my face! ^^

I would give Holika Holika’s face powder 8/10, points minus because of the texture, and (hey!) I believe there are better powders out there! Plus points are it’s value for money, oil absorbing features, and nice smell!

Purikura time~

Went to to take purikura with Tsuriki and Himeko the other day before heading to karaoke, then our event!

Before heading for purikura, we had lunch at shokudo!

Himeko and I ordered Potato Rosti, and Tsuriki ordered Unagi Tofu salad, which we all thought was a very small portion!

In the end….

What arrived shocked Tsuriki and she burst out laughing! This huge bowl is nothing like we’ve seen in the menu!

So, the two very professional bloggers decided to ‘get to work’!

And me, being the lazy bum, just ninja-ing them with my camera!

We had a nice lunch and chat and gossip(?) session with each other! Shall keep the contents to myself! HOHOHO!

Then purikura time!

I initially wanted to post up pictures of Himeko and Tsuriki decorating the photos, but! The lighting was too lousy for an amateur photoshopper like me to fix!

SO I GAVE UP!

Perseverance is key? I think not!

Hello everyone!

Recently, I went to another blogger event with…

Yes you guessed it! Himeko and Tsuriki!

This is me and my LOTD!

I love this outfit!

While taking photos, Himeko and Tsuriki photobombed me!

Anyway, on to the mission (event)! Today’s mission is Glam me up session with Shunji Matsuo! Who is Shunji Matsuo???

Shunji Matsuo is actually a renowned style maker and the founder of Shunji Matsuo Hair Studio! He has 40 years of experience is hair styling and has also worked with various fashion brands including Emporio Armani, Max & Co, Griorgio Armani, Missoni, Louis Vuitton and Shu Uemura!

Hence, even though I was really excited, I was a little nervous to meet someone of Shunji-san’s calibre!

But what greeted us totally got rid of any nervousness I had in me! As we were the first bloggers to arrive, we were brought to the lounge in Shunji Matsuo Hair Studio..

And what greeted us was…

Wait for it…

FOOD!

Are you hungry? Or feeling peckish? If you are, you could’ve totally understood why I forgot about my nervousness… (glutton mode on!)

Before I get to the main topic, I’m gonna split this post into 4 parts! Reception, Mini Lesson, Transformation, Hair Styling, and Michiyo’s Special!

What will their hairstyles be like?

WOAHHHHH! Isn’t it amazing? For Shunji-san’s side we have a more punk, dramatic style, and for Kaoru-san’s side we have a more hime, cute, look!

Personally, I found the hairstyle Shunji-san designed really interesting!

Wonder if my hair can look like this?

After the demonstration, the bloggers were assigned to different hairstylists! There were hairstylists from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Shanghai!

Himeko and I were assigned to Shu Hei-san from Japan (more of him later) to do our hair!

We were really excited!

And.. ME!

Here’s my before hair!

Shu Hei-san started on Himeko first! She wanted to volumenise the top of her hair because she felt it was too flat!

I was taking selcas while waiting for her to be done!

Then after awhile,

Shu Hei-san came to do my hair too!

I had a nice chat with him about one piece! Turns out that he’s a fellow one piece fan! So I got along well with him~

For my hairstyle, initially I wanted him to do more of a tsubasa kinda look. But in the end, I told Shu Hei-san: “Do whatever you want! Whatever you think would suit me most!”

Shu Hei-san thought for awhile and asked me: “Are you sure?”

Then proceeded to tie my hair up in samurai style high ponytail on the top of my head!

Then a pretty lady from the demonstration earlier came to curl my hair while ShuHei-san was busy with Himeko’s hair. She’s from JB, Malaysia!

Taking selcas after curling my hair…

Then I got bored of taking selcas so I went to look for Tsuriki who was with a different hairstylist from Japan, Yamapi-san!

Well, Tsuriki looks really happy!

Then, ShuHei-san came back!

He made my hair into devil horns, tied it up, and…

Started back combing it!

I was thinking: “Wow! I’m gonna have a cool hairstyle like the demonstration earlier!”

And here’s the end product!

I’m just kidding! There’s more to come! With a few pins here and there, ShuHei-san transformed my hair into a…

MEGA DANGO!

I was joking with ShuHei-san that it’s a dragonball, then a huge gigantic takoyaki!

Really like the braids on my dango!

So I requested for a photo with ShuHei-san,

So I told ShuHei-san, let’s do a Luffy Smile post!

Here it is!

After styling my hair, I went around to take photos of other people’s hair! Curious to see Domo, HuiTien, Tsuriki and Himeko’s hairstyles?

Shall start with Domokie’s hairstyles first! Their hair was styled by a Korean hairstylist!

And a very pretty and cute domo posing for a shot! I kept teasing her saying that the things on her hair look like alien reception thingies! But they were actually put on by Shunji-san himself! And yea la, she looks like a female lead for a very cute MV!

Next up, HuiTien’s Hair!

Didn’t manage to get a picture of her hair in the salon!Because her hair wasn’t done when I finished mine! Nonetheless, their hair, as you can see, is more Korean-ish compared to mine, Himeko’s and Tsuriki’s.

YOU SHALL SEE LATER! Hohoho!

Here’s the highly anticipated, HIMEKO’S HAIR!

Yes, in case you’re wondering, it’s her real hair! ShuHei-san braided it and made it into a flower!

SOOOOO PRETTY!

Next, Tsuriki’s hair! We were calling Tsuriki ojousama after we saw her hair! That’s because she looks like a rich ojousama! Judge for yourself!

and the close up! (which I ninja-ed when she was talking to someone else!)

And her pretty hairstylist, Yamapi-san!

Tsuriki actually wanted a more cool and andro(?) look! But this was also fine I guess!

We took a group photo together!

I also took a picture with Yvonne-san, which I had a very nice chat with! ^^

And of course, how can I forget a photo with Shunji-san!

I was damn happy!!!!!

And, that was the end of the event!

BUT! Not the end of the post! It’s time for…

Michiyo’s Special!

Based on what you saw earlier, this (^) board, and popsister, I’m going to elaborate more on the styles this season!

Let’s start with the previous issue of popsister (July 2011 Issue)! (once again, I scanned them myself *proud*)

I will highlight the more important parts to you guys! (Braids, Hair Accessories, Odango, Bohemian, Hime-cut)

As you can see, the picture on the top left, is a more bohemian style, with a headband! Although the curls are simple, but adding a headband gives you a different look!

And as you can see, the picture on the right makes use of braiding to give a very elegant but cute look!

Right Picture: Double Odango! This hairstyle has been in season for both spring and summer! It’s both cute and fun, but cool at the same time!

Left Picture: Once again, braiding is used to give a more bohemian and elegant look!

In this month’s issue of popsister, there are also many hairstyles that include the “in season” traits!

Let’s take a look!

Hairstyles that you can achieve in 1 minute!

As seen on Kana Hoshino, braids! (see! Shunji-san is spot on!)

And on Narumi Nakakita, Hime-cut! This cut frames your face and makes it look smaller! At the same time, it would also make you look cuter! Personally, I really love this cut as it’s soooooo cute! Especially with students who have to tie their hair up, a hime-cut is good for you! It would make you look cute without trying too hard!

In this picture, Yui Kanno has on a very simple braid, which you can braid to school or work! Not too dramatic, very simple, and best of all, fast! Good for when you’re rushing for school or work if you’re always late like me!

Eri Aoki also has a really simple bohemian look here! Just by twisting the sides of your hair, you can achieve this effect!

(Digression: Don’t you think Tsuriki looks like Nana Suzuki?)

Now on to the 5 Minute hairstyles!

Braids! And Dango! And Hime cut!

Top left: Elegant look by Eri Aoki with her hair braided, then tied up! Pretty!

Bottom Right: A more complicated fishtail braid!

Bottom Left: A side dango! This simple dango is not too cute, but it would brighten up your outfit when matched with a simple hat!

Last of all, hairstyles that can be accomplished in 10-minutes!

Top Right: Double Dango as seen in Popsister July 2011 Issue! (Do I need to say more?)

Bottom Right: Fringe tied into a braid, swept to the side, and hair tied up into a dango! Best combination for a bohemian look? Definitely!

Bottom Left: Once again, this proves that braids and dangos go well together! A very cute look from Yui Kanno, and her cuteness is accentuated with a small flower in her side dango! <3

Here’s my own hairstyle for the day,

Dango and Braids! (sounds like a dish you can order at a restaurant… Maybe I’m hungry?)

As you can see, paired with my Hime-cut, it’s truly a really cute hairstyle! (Note: my hairstyle! Not me!)

Popsister August 2011 Issue Mag Scan!

Are you excited? Cos I definitely am!

Showing you peeks of POPSISTER latest edition with Tsubasa Masuwaka on the cover!

(I bought the magazine and scanned it myself! I swear I didn’t’ grab if off sites online!)

And, this issue is of course, about summer!

For me, I have this love hate relationship with summer! I love summer fashions and the colours of the makeup during summer! BUT! At the same time, I really hate the weather! It makes me sweat and I detest sweating!

Hence my love hate relationship with summer…

Enough of digressing! Back to the main point! First of all, summer makeup style!

As you can see, the turquoise at the end of your eyes would really make your eyes pop! And enough of brown makeup! It’s for boring people! This summer we’re gonna be fun fun fun! Besides, this makeup is really really easy for beginners! TRY IT! Bright coloured eye make is a definite MUST HAVE this summer!

Next, after being done with your face, your clothes are important too! 88 tops you must have for summer! (self explanatory right!)

Now that we’re done with clothes, it’s time for shoes! As they like to say, a girl can’t have too many pairs of shoes, right? (Or was it clothes, dresses, or boyfriends? Just kidding!)

Either way, these are a few must have shoes for the season!

Love these shoes! I recently bought a pair of gladiator sandal wedges myself and I LOVE IT! Pretty to match with any dress or even jeans!

Guess who went to her first ever blogger event? who?

yes me!

Tsuriki invited me to go along with her, friends of Domokie (Domo and HT), Himeko!, and Clara to Ginvera’s blogger event!

I was really excited!

and here’s a stalker photo of tsuriki..

Being my first time trying out Ginvera products, I was REALLYYYYYY impressed with all their products!

On a slightly superficial level, the products smell really good! But beneath all the nice smelling goodness, their products really pack a whole lot of other nutrients!

To show you how good their products are, we did a test! Using this weird machine to measure our skin moisture!

We compared Ginvera products with Brand X and Brand Y. Brand X being a competitor brand of Ginvera’s whitening cream, and Brand Y being a competitor brand of Ginvera’s BB cream!

(Try to imagine some brand by yourself! i refuse to post the photos because I think it’s really unfair to the other brands as their packaging is easily recognisable!)

And we had to write our readings down on little cards like these!

The reading on the left, GINVERA! And the right, Brand X! As you can see, Ginvera is obviously better, more moisturising!

AQUA WHITENING CREAM!

Same for their BB cream which I got really sold on! Gonna switch from my current brand of BB to Ginvera~

Really love their BB cream! Being a “hardcore” user of BB Cream (I only use BB cream + powder and no foundation), I really love Ginvera’s BB cream! It’s value for money, nice smelling, light texture with good coverage, what more can you ask for!

After the testing of the products, we went had a mini tea session! The food was not bad! I loved the chocolate!

Then off to the blogger’s presentations!

We had to watch the presentations and vote for our favourite!

To be honest, I had quite a hard time deciding who to vote for! But I decided to vote for….

Anyway, another Ginvera product that I really liked was the Marvel Gel! I didn’t take a photo of it, BUT I REALLY LOVED IT OMG!

Have you heard of Cure? It’s sold at watsons at like 40++SGD! Ginvera’s Marvel Gel IS EXACTLY LIKE IT (maybe even better) AND IT’S LIKE MORE THAN HALF THE PRICE!

You guys should check it out! It’s really awesome and I’m gonna get it myself.

(i apologise in advance for my coarse and foul language.)

as the title suggests, it’s about a blogshop. and if you guys follow my twitter, you would know that i ordered something from a blogshop like 5 million years ago. (okay i know i’m exaggerating.. about, maybe say 5 months ago?)

i mailed the person on the 25th of February, ordering the items. the site stated that the contact lens would arrive in 1-2 weeks. i was like, okay, fine! great timing! so i got along my friends, shakeela and siyu to order together.

(which is one of the reasons i’m blogging about this. if i’m the only one involved, it’s fine. but my friends are involved. which is one of the reasons i’m so angry.)

as you can see, it stated at first, 1-2 weeks. then on the 28th of march, 2-3 weeks. if supplier delay, fine, i’m totally okay with that.

then i mailed the person after 2-3 weeks, this is what she replied. AFTER MORE THAN A MONTH.

and she also posted on her blogshop on an update on the contact lens.

i was like: “okay! yay! receiving my lens soon! i can do a review of it on my blog! *happy*”

thing is, i didn’t know that 2-3 days = WEEKS. as you can see in the email picture, there’re still more emails right!

here they are.

so many emails, NO REPLY. and she promised to refund my friend the money right? she didn’t and i doubt she did till now.

anddddd.. is it over yet? NO! thanks to one of my friends who advised me to google the blogshop and the owner, i did! and i found that one of the customers got scammed two years ago. (idk if this is true) and through there, i found the blogshop owner’s personal email!

so we went to google her on facebook. and her real account popped up! so instead of messaging her on her website/facebook (which we already did), we decided to message her on her private facebook. we did. STILL NO REPLY.

so i googled her name, and found her twitter! TADAH! which comes the most frustrating part.

keela, being the brave one, decided to tweet her first.

then she replied (please read from the bottom because it’s in reverse chronological order)

“RELAX? how can i fucking relax when it’s been delayed for so long?”

plus look at her attitude when speaking to us. there is no apology done for the delay

oh, you got scammed, so what? you didn’t even explain yourself on your blogshop. i’m sure if she explained herself or FREAKING REPLIED MY EMAILS, i wouldn’t have been so angry.

don’t like the way we talk about you? too bad, your attitude and service sucks!

making a scene? yes i LOVE TO MAKE A SCENE! benefit the both of us? maybe only you. no harm done to me. and i was wondering, if you didn’t offend anybody, or scammed anybody, why would someone defame you? you’re not a famous person what.

so both of us are the whole world! WOW! i didn’t know keela and i are so famous. and if it’s not very nice, it’s not very nice of her to delay our items also. am i right or am i right?

so we stopped tweeting her and waited for our items. then i tweeted her in that week again, fearing that it would be another empty promise.

this is what she replied.

fucking rude right! and to the fucker thing. i was like just venting stuffs out on my twitter.

you guys can go see if you don’t believe me. it’s all there! i didn’t delete the tweets.

and i just recieved the items on 14th June.

my conclusion?

this girl is a fucking loser. emailed her so many times never reply. have to confront her directly to get a reply out of her. and it’s not even polite! know why she replied so fast and efficiently? because she’s scared that her dirty secrets would get exposed to the whole world and her reputation would be ruined. till now i don’t even know if the rest of her customers have received their items. (i would love to interview them ;> )

PS: i decided to blur her because i don’t want anything to do with her anymore. not because i’m afraid she’ll sue me for defamation or what. she can’t anyway, because i’m telling the truth and i have evidence on my hands.

(besides i studied law so i know the law terms in order to sue someone for defamation)

EDIT: on another note, i might wanna expose her one day… hmmmmm.. depends on my mood.

Hey guys!

sorry for the un-warned hiatus! I’M NOT DEAD! haha! and I’m still alive and KICKING (or wanting to.. but more about that later!)

first of all, sorry to all of you who’ve been checking back my blog for my updates! sorry! and thank you so much for continuing to read this boring blog.

secondly, i should explain to you guys why i’ve been gone for so long right? for the time i’ve been gone, well, i’ve been both a busy bee AND a lazy bum. busy bee thanks to projects from school and lazy bum because i’ve been procrastinating blog posts!

thirdly, i’m not gonna blog so much about my private life, because it’s not really interesting anyway! instead, i’m gonna blog about reviews, fashion, and funny random stuff. okay?

Hey everyone! sorry for not updating for such a long time! who missed me?

have been really busy with school and stuff! but was really glad that i managed to go to averil lavigne’s concert last week!

it was soooo awesome! and i finally got to see my childhood idol up close! i was so touched, i cried!

her vocals were really good and i totally enjoyed myself!

(and her hair is soooo pretty! she’s so beautiful too!)

anyway, in case you’re wondering about the random inserts of selcas, it’s just me being lame because i have so many overdue photos!
